Medic One once again partnered with the Better Life Counseling Center to sponsor the Medic One Ride for a Better Life  on Saturday October 6, 2007 .  The ride consisted of 20 and 62 mile routes taking participants through scenic Crowley’s Ridge in and around Jonesboro.  We had 60 registered riders participate in the event this year.

There were fully supported rest stops along the routes.  Medic One followed each route as SAG drivers with medical personnal in each vehicle.  Lunch was provided after the ride.

Showers were available at the YMCA next to the counseling center.

All ride proceeds benefited the Better Life Counseling Center, a nonprofit faith-based organization in Jonesboro that provides Christian counseling to families and individuals. Moneys raised were directed to the Center’s ‘Samaritan Fund’, established to ensure no one will be turned away from counseling services for inability to pay.

Gearhead Outfitters once donated a bike that was given away at our event.
