The Samaritan Fund |

| |
For those who qualify, a 'Samaritan Fund' has been established to lower out-of-pocket expenses for therapy sessions. This fund is composed of money donated by interested individuals and churches. Income and circumstances are taken into account when calculating the help available from the Samaritan Fund. Over $850,000.00 has been used over the last 12 years to help those who could not afford to pay!
In Luke 10, the Good Samaritan was not afraid to reach out to an individual who had been beaten down and bloodied by circumstances. He was willing to do what he could, and then provide for others to finish the healing process. BLCC's Samaritan Fund provides the public with an opportunity to follow this Christ-like example, reaching out to the hurting and providing for the healing process to take place.
There are many ways you can take part in supporting the Samaritan Fund. One-time donations are welcome, as well as monthly or yearly pledges. If you would like to leave a portion of your estate to continue the work of the Samaritan Fund, estate planning help is available. For churches and other organizations, budgeted support to the Samaritan Fund entitles you to benefits such as reduced per-session costs for your members, as well as seminars and workshops at reduced rates. In addition, everyone who gives will receive the BLCC Newsletter, LifeNotes.
The policy of the Better Life Counseling Center is to turn no one away from our services based on ability to pay. The Samaritan Fund was created in order to put this policy into practice. Whether you are seeking help from the Samaritan Fund, or would like to help continue the work, you're invited to contact BLCC for more information. |
